Team Name Bracket

Every team has one person with twenty name ideas and four people with none. A team name bracket gets everyone involved: collect the suggestions, let the team vote, and wear the winner proudly.

How it works

  1. 1
    Add your choices

Start from an example above or type your own, up to 64.

  2. 2
    Tap your favorites

Choices meet head-to-head. Tap the one you'd pick, and the winner moves on.

  3. 3
    Crown a champion

Keep going until one is left. Play again with friends and compare.

Suggested format: Single elimination. Single elimination is quick enough to settle it before the first game.

Better together. Play with friends so every teammate votes from their phone. Hidden votes keep it fair.

Tips for a great team name bracket

  • Have each teammate submit two names so the bracket feels like a team effort.
  • Check the winner out loud: it should be easy to shout from the sidelines.
  • Keep it family friendly; our filter blocks or masks crude names automatically.

Frequently asked questions

How do we choose a team name fairly?

Put every suggestion in a bracket and let the whole team vote from their phones. Votes stay hidden until the reveal, and the majority advances each matchup.

Can we vote remotely?

Yes. Share the room code in your group chat, or share the bracket as a link so everyone plays on their own time.

What about ties?

Ties go to a quick sudden-death revote. If the team is still split, the winner is picked fairly at random.
